To get of your very own you'll need to find a map to the "Hidden Burrow" By either digging for treasure or sometimes you'll get it as a reward from a tour. Then visit said lot and make friends with him. Then you should have to option to ask him to move in with you...if all goes well he'll give you a big hug and accept.
